Casement Windows

A casement is a window that is attached to its frame by one or more hinges at the side. They are used singly or in pairs within a common frame, in which case they are hinged on the outside.

Casement windows are also excellent for natural ventilation strategies. Casements allow more control of ventilation than flush-opening windows. They can be hinged to open outward and angled in order to direct breezes into the building.

This traditional British uPVC window style offers slim sight lines to let in maximum light. Available in a wide choice of configurations, including top or side hung, arched top, or as a French window fire escape. Adding mock sash horns gives Liniar casement windows the appearance of traditional vertical sliders. To add character you can add astragal bars or Georgian bars.

Choosing Liniar uPVC casement windows means you can say goodbye to draughty windows forever:  Liniar’s unique, patented double-action bubble gasket, used in all our products, delivers a continuous seal, even in the corners, also keeping your windows weather proof and leak-free.

All windows in our range are aesthetically designed to be streamlined, seamless and contemporary, blending unobtrusively thus complimenting existing windows, doors and interiors. Each design shares distinct characteristics so when combining different windows i.e. a slide unit with a lift out unit, the two will blend to form a complete look. Arched and shaped units are also available for more challenging, architectural and creative window installations.

Casement windows stand out as a timeless and popular home improvement solution. We have brought this window design into the modern day using the Liniar system.
